Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs on Wednesday (3rd) to attend a seminar with the US Semiconductor Industry Association and its member companies, according to Chinese media reports. The delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with John Neuffer, President and CEO of the Semiconductor Industry Association, on promoting cooperation in the semiconductor sector between China and the US, deepening multilateral cooperation, and maintaining the stability and smooth operation of the global industrial and supply chains. It is understood that representatives from Qualcomm (QCOM.US), GlobalFoundries (GFS.US), ON Semiconductor (ON.US), Nokia, Synopsys (SNPS.US), and Emerson Electric (EMR.US) also attended the seminar.
