China's standard GB17675-2025 "Basic Requirements for Automotive Steering Systems" for steer-by-wire technology was officially released yesterday (3rd), according to NIO-SW (09866.HK).

NIO ET9 has become the first mass-produced model equipped with steer-by-wire technology in China. It is also the only model that has received dual certification from China and Europe for steer-by-wire technology in the world.
